AirAsia Introduces New Route “Chiang Mai-Hanoi” 4 Flights/Week
AirAsia is launching 4 direct flights a week from Chiang Mai-Hanoi (Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday) starting this 28 October 2018, driving Chiang Mai towards becoming an international flight hub by bringing its network to 8 routes. The addition comes with a promotional fare starting at only 1,090 THB per trip available for booking today to 19 August 2018 for travel from 28 October 2018 to 29 March 2019.
Thai AirAsia currently offers 16 routes both domestic and international from its Chiang Mai hub (including Hanoi). Internationally, the airline flies 8 routes; Chiang Mai-Macau, Chiang Mai-Hong Kong, Chiang Mai-Hangzhou, Chiang Mai-Changsha, Chiang Mai-Kuala Lumpur (AK), Chiang Mai-Yangon, Chiang Mai-Taipei and Chiang Mai-Hanoi.

Thai Airways International has announced the adjustment of fuel surcharges on an average 137-200% higher on 59 international routes.
The increase is effective today.
The adjustment in fuel surcharges for the second time this year will see an increase in ticket price fin the range of US$ 5 -33 per leg of travel.
The national flag carrier did not give reason for the adjustment but continuing rises in jet fuel prices in the past were passed on partly to it’s passengers in the form of fuel surcharges.
Air tickets for economy and business classes on 59 international routes will see 137-200% increase on surcharges for each leg of trip.
